Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981, and a member of SSC's Board of Directors from 2011, was the founding co-artistic director of Speech of Fire. Also, she was the producer and costume/set designer, composer/musician and text coach for SSC during her time as the Artistic Director of SSC. While she would usually be the director of her group the first time she was directing was as part of SSC King Lear.
