Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash Morgan, born in 1981, and a member of SSC's Board of Directors from 2011, was the founding co-artistic director of Speech of Fire. Also, she was the producer and costume/set designer, composer/musician and text coach for SSC during her time as the Artistic Director of SSC. While she would usually be the director of her group the first time she was directing was as part of SSC King Lear. Other than acting she has been involved in a variety of game-based series. In her early years her family lived within Walnut Creek with her siblings as well as poet Marylee Post. She attended Las Lomas High School where she was a cheerleader. She did a brief stint at Pomona College. Post wedding, she was married Stephen Knox in the past. Michael A. Ross has been her husband, as well as co-writer since 1982. They share two daughters. Post is an excellent actress, an ideal spouse and mother, as well as a role model for several Hollywood famous people.
